How to know if your MLM is being fair

Here are some of the dirty tricks that some Multi-level-marketing companies will try:

Stealing your commissions.

Some companies will pass your commission down to your downline if they make a higher commission rate on a given month than you do. If you are with a company  that has a commission structure set up like this, your downline can come in and sweep up your commissions….nice reward for training them, eh?

Carrot and stick motivation tactics

A lot of Multi-level-marketing companies will set the minimum amount of sales you need to make just higher than what most people usually sell in their company. Yes, these Mulit-level-marketing companies know what the average person in their company sells, and they use that figure to determine what  minimum amount of sales you must make in order to  qualifying  for a larger commission bracket….so that you never sell enough to actually make any real  commission.

Failing to mail you your commissions

Mlmer, do you take the time to calculate what your commissions are? Do you really do the math each month? Many of you don’t, which is exactly what many MLM companies expect you to neglect. Don’t think they’d do this? Just ask around (though, ahem, I’m sure YOUR company would NEver do that!)

Going out of Business

Sadly, many MLM companies never get off the ground, so to speak. Once they do gain momentum, they may be only a few lawsuits away from losing it all. This is very concerning, as many MLMs provide the best profit potential to the very newest arrivals. It’s a delicate balance choosing a company that is new enough to be profitable, tempered with the age it takes to be solid. What do I mean exactly? Well, many MLMs are structured so that those who get on board first get the highest commissions. In other words, often if you join an MLM that is saturated, you won’t make as much profit as if you’d signed on early in its history.

The long and short of it is, many MLMers jump from one opportunity to the next newest one, hoping to make a profit, or to leave a burning ship before it sinks.

Conclusion:

Joining an MLM in the infancy of its formation can be very lucrative, if you do your homework and find that the company appears to be solvent.

How to Be successful in MLM

The spiritual side of marketing

Alright, MLMer, you’ve tried it all. You’ve read it all. And you’ve been to all the meetings. If you’ve attended all of the self help sessions you can stand, and read every motivational book out there, but still don’t have the results you are looking for, then you may want to try hooking the divine up with your efforts.

Keep the main thing the main thing

Is your life in balance? Do you have time with your family? How are your devotions each morning (prayer time, Bible time)? If you think you are lacking in these areas, work on them first. He promised us that He would add all of these things to us if we seek His kingdom first. But really, how many of us do that? Do we read His word? Do we spend time with Him in the morning? If you aren’t putting Him first, do that first.

ask God to bless your business and to show you a plan for your business.

So many people ask others for advice, but shouldn’t we go to God first…. and listen?  He promises He will be there to guide us if we seek Him with all our heart.

seek the scriptures for some light on your business situation (God speaks through His word)

It’s amazing how many times the Almighty will really speak a spot on word to us through His written word, if we just humble ourselves and expectantly search the scriptures.

knock–Put feet to your prayers and work the plan that God gives you

When, and only when you are confident God has put an actual business plan in your soul, go ahead and work that plan. Yes we can pray and read the scriptures, and yes we definitely need to make sure that our business has the right place in our lives. But at the end of the day, we need to “put feet to our prayers” and go out and make it happen. He promised to be with us each step of the way, if we put Him first.

What it takes to succeed at Coastal Vacations.

If you want to succeed at Coastal Vacations, you need the following. You need:

Training

Leads

Confidence

And that’s about it. If you don’t have good training, you won’t know how to promote the Coastal Opportunity.

If you don’t have leads, you may run out of people to call.

And if you have everything else, but lack confidence, your prospect will smell your fear.

And that, my friend,  is the kiss of death to any sale.

What you need, is a training program that shows you how to handle your customer’s questions after you’ve been shown how to generate the most interested personalized leads available. In other words, you need to have leads who want what you have.

You need to have the right training to approach your leads.

And, you need to have the best leads possible.

Having great leads definitely can take away some of the fear of rejection on the phone.

Having leads who have requested you by name is just about the most stress free lead you can think of. Because you know they:

want what you have

have requested a call back

and specifically asked for you yourself to call them.

All of this is possible when you sign up with my team. We train you from A to z to answer any questions your prospect could throw at you. When you sign up with our team, we run your bio on our front page, along with a contact form where people can request that you personally call them back. And if that doesn’t get you feeling more confident, we work with you on attaining that winning mindset that sets you apart as a winner.

Guys, it just doesn’t get any easier than this!

So if you’re ready to generate great leads, get rock solid training, and have the most confident “selling mindset” on the planet, sign up here. I’ll be sure to get back with you.

Why people are scared to sell on the phone.

The number one reason that people are scared to sell on the phone, is fear of rejection. The second biggest reason is the fear of being asked a question that the salesperson is not prepared to answer.

If you think about it, good salespeople do not have these issues. Let’s talk about it: I want you to think of the most successful salesperson you know of. If you are in an MLM (multi-level marketing company), then you want to think of the guy at the top, that outsells everyone, every month.  Now just for a moment, I want you to ask yourself this question; could you ever in a million years think of a situation where this guy or gal would be nervous about someone hanging up on them? Because if they are like most highly successful salespeople, their confidence is running over; they are brimming with self confidence, and it shows. So it would be hard to imagine them ever wincing at the thought of being rejected.

Now, let’s move onto the second scenario. To be fair, we need to “tweak” this question a bit, to apply it to this mega-salesperson’s situation. That second reason I gave you for people fearing the phone, is the fear that they will not have an answer to a question that someone throws them on the phone call. And if you think about it for a moment, it really  doesn’t seem fair to compare the new MLMers fear with that of  the top guy,  when you consider the top leader’s experience and knowledge base. After all, if you knew everything there was to know about your MLM, you’d be confident too, right? Well, not necessarily. Because the truth is, most MLMs have something troubling about their history–but you just don’t know about it…yet.  But Mr. Joe Moneybucks who’s been in this thing awhile, he could tell you all about your MLMs lawsuits, or about some “diamonds” at the top who ripped people off and then relocated…to the South Pacific. And the truth is, even if you possess ALL the knowledge about all there is to know about your company, you can still feel fear…if you don’t deal with it like the successful phone salespeople do.  So how do they do it? How do the top producers eliminate fear and forge forward in their selling? I cover all of this in my free report, “Abolishing fear on the phone”. Claim your copy now:

What to look for in an MLM company

If you’ve been following this blog for any length of time, then you know that I am a Level 3 Director for Coastal Vacations. So you probably think that I am going to tell you that Coastal Vacations is “the” MLM that you should go for.

But that’s not true. For two reasons (actually, 3).

First of all, Coastal Vacations is not an MLM.  It’s members make money off of direct sales, not off of residual commissions. But that’s okay, because every single director makes at least $1000 per sale. Minimum.  Yes, the Coastal Opportunity pays phenomenal commissions to it’s directors.  At $1000+ per sale, it’s the best Network Marketing Opportunity I have ever seen. Which brings me to my next point:

Sales. As in, you have to sell. And this usually means selling on the phone. So unless you have a better way of promoting the product, or are willing to be trained on the phone, you shouldn’t join Coastal Vacations and expect to never use the phone.

Incidentally, fear of the phone is the NUMBER ONE source of anxiety with former Coastal Vacations Members. I know, because many of them contact me to re-sign up with my training program. Which brings me to my final point:

Don’t sign up for Coastal Vacations unless you sign up with a director who trains their people.

How to make money with your MLM

The first step in making money with your MLM is found in making sales. SALES, not recruitments. Yes, you heard that right! See, a lot of MLM companies are lying to you…they are telling you that signing people up is more important than making sales. But what if you aren’t making money everytime someone joins? What if you are making money only when they sell? Then if that’s the case, you may find yourself spending all of your time signing up people who don’t care…and don’t sell…which means, none of your time made you any money.

But now, what if you are smart…and you sign up only quality people. And, you train them right. And they sell. Okay, that’s great. But now we come to the next issue…what about your commission on each sale they make? Do you know, right now, how much commission that you, as a beginner, can expect to make off each sale?

How much do you need a month in order to survive? Is your team pulling in the kind of volume that you need in order to earn a decent wage? And if they are selling a lot, how much of that commission do you see…RIGHT NOW?

MLMer, be careful that your company is not dangling a carrot before you. You need to be sure that the time which  you invest in:

  • Recruiting your people
  • Training your people and
  • Keeping your people converts to money. As in, your team is selling enough to make you enough commissions, right now, to pay your bills.

Coastal Vacations has a commission system that earns each and every director a minimum of $1000 commission for every single sale, each time.

All that’s required is that you go through a training process and that you and your trainer close two sales. Then  you are released to begin making thousand dollar plus commissions when you sell the package.

There are three different levels you can join at, and three different commission levels.

It costs less than $1500 to join, which means, once you are a director, you can quickly earn enough commission to repay the cost of the package.

So, MLMer,  what kind of commissions are you making these days? Wanna do better? Start saving your peanuts from your current MLM sales, and save up for the best Vacation Business opportunity on the planet. And when you are ready to invest in your future, give me a call at 816 833 0613. Ask for Susan.

Why most MLM’s have a bad rap

A lot of people groan when they hear the word “MLM”. That’s because most MLM’s try to get their members to recruit as many friends and family as they can. It can get quite ridiculous to the point where you are expected to almost stalk your loved ones with “the opportunity”. All of this recruiting becomes forced and unatural and MLMers are tired of it. It’s a total bummer having to edge every conversation toward the opportunity. Dialoging becomes something you dread because you know that you are going to have to present your MLM, invite them to a meeting, ask them to come hear your pitch; and it puts people on the spot.

MLM stands for multi-level-marketing and in case you don’t know, many of these companies encourage their members to sit down and make a list of every possible person in their life who would be open to joining their MLM. And just about the time that the member declares “I’ve called ALL of them and NONE of them are interested!” their recruiter will tell them something like this:
“Think….dig deep….who do you have in your circle of influence”
There’s no one. “ah yes, surely there is. What about the boy who mows your lawn?” He’s 12/ “well, he has parents, right? Ask them” I’ve never met them “well ask. Request an invitation”
Are you beginning to see how pathetic this appears? And how degrading?

When you sign up for Coastal Vacations, you will never hear my team suggest that you do these things. On the contrary! We put your contact information right on our website and let others directly contact you about the program. You don’t have to worry about getting leads who don’t want what you have. You get a customized lead-producing bio and photo front and center on our website. Talk about targeted traffic! And what’s more, we show how to produce your own leads offline, from individuals who want what you have.

If you’re tired of making less than a thousand dollars per sale, and you’re sick and tired of being manipulated, give us a chance to tell you why we’re the best MLM alternative on the planet!
